As we look forward to another year of teaching, we’d like to take a moment to reflect on our past year.
During the 2017-2018 school year, we taught:
We taught about 7,200 students in total, about half of whom we taught a full four-lesson series, and over a third of whom we taught for the second year in a row.
We taught 69 lessons in school gardens, and led four field trips to local farms.
We debuted our new Climate Conscious Cooking series of lessons, focusing on prompting students to think about how their food choices impact the environment.
We’re looking forward to another great year of helping students expand their food horizons and connect to where their food comes from!
